North Face athlete Laura Cortez invited us along on her quest to summit Iztaccíhautl — a 17,000-foot volcano right outside of Amecameca, Mexico. We took two trips with Laura to Mexico to tell this story of her connecting with a side of her family history she'd yet to know and gearing up for one of the toughest challenges of her life.
